Recent demand for complicated workpiece part geometry has increased dramatically and as a result, higher profile accuracy and better surface finish are expected. To meet with these needs, Sodick has developed a wide tapering capacity, maintaining a uniform surface finish and high angle and profile accuracy.

New Development
High-performance 45 degree angle tapers can be machined with standard programming.  This function (option) is named "Taper Flex 45".
