Sodick Suzhou plant is situated in Suzhou (population: 5,900,000) 100 km away from Shanghai, in the midst of China,which has the world's largest population of 1.3 billion. Either car or train will take you to Sodick plant from Shanghai Pudong International airport in about 2 hours. This manufacturing facility inaugurated manufacturing in November 1995 and now manufactures both Wire-cut EDMs, and die-sinker EDMs.
There are many buildings; No.1 for assembly, No. 2 for sheet metal working, No. 3 for machining as well as cafeteria. The factories also have solid floor strong enough to manufacture precision machines, such as Electrical Discharge Machines, and Wire-cut EDM. High quality air conditioning is also fully facilitated to control the inner ideal temperature needed to manufacture the high precision machines at Sodick's original accuracy standard.

About Suzhou city
Suzhou city is located 100 km away from Shanghai to the west, and has a long history of over 2,500 years. Being famous for culture, it is one of the well known tourist cities.
