Sodick's originally developed and manufactured linear motor employs a direct drive system which has high speed and high positioning accuracy with no backlash. Its high responsiveness, stability, and performance do not diminish over time and remain maintenance free. The linear motor achieves even better performance thanks to the Sodick Motion Controller (SMC) which has perfected over the years.
- 3D design method ensures High rigidity
Sodick's 3D designing systems, the latest CAE technologies and numerous simulations have made it possible to create an improved basic machine structure of optimized rib arrangements which dramatically increase rigidity. Deformation is minimized, allowing optimum performance of high-speed and rapid acceleration-linear motors.
- Power supply unit featuring linear motor "LN series"
The AD3L features Sodick's latest "LN" power supply unit, capable of high-speed, high precision and high-efficiency machining. It is equipped with "LN assist", automatic programming function, as standard.
- Newly developed high speed finishing "SVC circuit"
Enables no-polish finishing for micro and nano-forms that are difficult to polish by producing high-grade finished surfaces, contributing to shorter processes, improved quality, and prolonged stability. Also dramatically improves the discharge frequency for the world's fastest processing by constantly maintaining the optimal discharge gap with a 3-axis linear motor highly responsive servo system.
