- Box-shape structure without overhang
This model is designed to perform at high-speeds and high-accelerations generated on a box shape structure with a low center of gravity.
- Minimum resolution of 3 nano meters
Minimum resolution, 3 nm linear scales and AC coreless linear motors are employed to enable high-accuracy & quick reactivity. A twin linear motor drive to counter-balance movement of the work table with a second table which moves at opposite direction.
- Twin linear motor drive to balance oppositional direction power
Both X-Y axes are equipped with counter-balance tables that move in opposite directions to balance vibration and also change of weight.

- 120,000min-1 high-speed spindle
Free from thermal effects, the spindle is a 120,000 min-1 pneumatic static bearing, air turbine system, and proves excellent vibration-free operation even at high-speed rotation.
- Automatic shrink-fit tool holding system
A tool is clamped onto the holder. This holder is once clamped onto a spindle and no need to change. Only tools are to be changed with an automatic shrink-fit tool holding system. This system features: (1) firm clamping remains the same even at high-speed rotation. (2) Tool can be clamped with high accuracy and changed automatically.
- Measuring system is employed for workpiece and tool
Workpiece position is measured by a spherical stylus (electric touch sensor). Tool diameter and ength are measured by a system of lasers. Together with an automatic tool changer, automated precision machining is performed for 24 hours.
